Herman Chinery-Hesse is a Ghanaian technology entrepreneur and the founder of SOFTtribe, the largest software company in Ghana. He is popularly known as the Bill Gates of Ghana and has been listed amongst the top 15 Black STEM Innovators in the world.

Herman is stronger believer in Africa's technological development. His mantra: "We need development in Africa and it's Africans who are going to develop Africa".
